Gloria Estefan

Born Gloria María Milagrosa Fajardo on September 1, 1957 in Havana, Cuba. She is a singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman. In 1989 she released her best selling album Cuts Both Ways. While touring in March 20, 1990, she was critically injured, suffering a fractured spine when a semi-truck crashed into the tour bus she was in during a snowstorm. Her rehabilitation required almost a year of intensive physical therapy. On March 14, 2019, Gloria and her husband were awarded with the 2019 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. They are the first married couple and first of Hispanic descent to receive the Gershwin Prize.

Born Beyoncé Giselle Knowles on September 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas, U.S. She is a singer, song writer, dancer, recording producer and actress. Her first solo album Dangerously in Love was released on June 24, 2003. The album earned Beyoncé a then record-tying five awards at the 46th Annual Grammy Awards; Best Contemporary R&B Album, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. Beyoncé’s second solo album B’Day was released on September 4, 2006, in the US. It sold 541,000 copies in its first week.

Born Ian Holm Cuthbert on September 12, 1931 in Goodmayes, in Essex, England. Ian is an actor who has played roles in Dennis Potter’s Moonlight on the Highway, Oh! What a Lovely War, Nicholas and Alexandra, Mary, Queen of Scots and many more. He has also played in various TV productions. The most recent role he has played in is as the elder Bilbo Baggins in the movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

Born William Carroll Smith Jr on September 25th, 1968, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. Will is an actor, rapper and media personality. Will has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards, and has won four Grammy Awards. In the late 1980s, Smith achieved modest fame as a rapper under the name The Fresh Prince. More recently Will Smith has played an in Ang Lee’s Gemini Man, released on October 4, 2019 and will voice Lance Sterling, a spy, in Spies in Disguise, which is scheduled to be released on December 25, 2019.

Born Gwyneth Kate Paltrow on September 27th, 1972. She is an American actress, singer, author and businesswoman. Gwyneth has won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She gained early notice for her work in films such as Seven (1995), Emma (1996), Sliding Doors, (1998) and A Perfect Murder (1998). Her other activities are Audio Books such as Bill Martin’s Brown Bear series. Fashion, in May 2005, Paltrow became the face of Estée Lauder’s Pleasures perfume. Launched her company lifestyle newsletter Goop, in September 2008.

Born Zachary Levi Pugh on September 29th, 1980 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, U.S. He is an actor and singer and is known for starring as Chuck Bartowski in the series Chuck, and as the title character in Shazam!, as a part of the DC Extended Universe. He was nominated for a Tony Award for the playing the role George Nowack in the 2016 Broadway revival of She Loves Me. He has appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok as Fandral.
